Geum chiloense 'Lady Stratheden' - Yellow Avens [British Grown Herbaceous Perennial]

Perennial with sunny yellow flowers which sprout from bright green foliage in the summer. Fully hardy throughout the UK, able to withstand temperatures below -20°C.

These bright yellow flowers will bring a riot of colour and a splash of sunshine to your garden and have even won the RHS' Award of Garden Merit for their excellence in the garden. The flowers are almost doubles, with extra ruffles of petals around the central stamen, and grow on stems shooting upwards from bright green scalloped foliage. This plant will die back underground over winter, but don't worry- it will grow back again and bring more bright blooms the following spring!
