- Likes bright indirect light; direct light can burn the leaves.
- Tends to grow in the direction of the light, turn the plant every now and again so that it grows evenly. 
- Keep the soil damp but not soggy.
- Likes high humidity; mist regularly and it may benefit from being on a pebble tray.
- Avoid cold drafts and keep in a warm spot.
- Fertilise regularly in spring/summer months.
- Keep out of reach of pets and small humans.
